Perfect location for exploring Granada city
Rooms were large and well equiped, warm, staff were very friendly

perfect location for access to granada city and its sights, all within walking distance.
also a great base for access to the ski resort of sierra nevada, we we well on our way within minutes of leaving the hotel car park.
the spa was great to use after a hard days skiing/shopping.
we will use this hotel again next year for our ski and sightseeing trip.

stay at LA Hotel in Granada
Well located, not too far away from Alhambra and city centre, near main avenues and restaurants area. Clean and decently furnished rooms.

This hotel is nice but I wouldn't rate it as a 4 stars. It is a 3 stars. This hotel is well located, not too far away from Alhambra and city centre, near main avenues and restaurants area. Clean and decently furnished rooms, although basic for a 4 stars. Breakfast is fine, features both a cold and a warm, cooked one. The rooms are equipped with basic furniture but the bathroom is nice and clean. THe hotel features a nice outdoor swimming pool, which I couldn't enjoy though as the weather (mid May 2010) when I was there was quite cold and windy.

The room condition was really great -very modern.
However it was not so easy to find the hotel. -Especially when I arrived at the train station, i had no idea which bus to catch.

It doesn't deserve 4 stars

It's the dirtiest 4-stars hotel I never seen. They didn't cleaned our room in 3 days, they just made the bed (and we were leaving the room every morning around half past nine, so that's not the problem).
The staff was, in my opinion, unpleasant. So far from the treatment anybody could expect from a 4-stars hotel.
The hotel is nice from outside, but inside it's old and not very comfortable: we had a small TV, an uncomfortable bed, etc. Besides, it lacks most of the comforts usuals on others 4-star hotels: bath equipment (shampoo, toothpaste, and so on), minibar, WIFI...
A good point is that it's so close to Alhambra and city center. Anyway, we didn't had any views from our second floor bedroom (and I suspect last-floor (fourth) bedrooms didn't have either).
We also had the breakfast included. It's acceptable, not very good but not bad. I can't complain about it.
Definitely not for recommend. It has 4 starts, but I think 3 stars are too much for it. Maybe 2-stars are appropriated.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
City center is 15-20 minutes walking from hotel through wide and flat streets. Alhambra is not so far too, but through a steep road.

good value for money, 10 minute far from Granada center and on the way to Alhambra by car or by bus.
It's an old hotel with hall, an a SPA-beauty center (not free, neither for sauna or hammam)..but rooms are old and not so functionally. your car can't stay close and you have to pay for hotel parking.

Alhambra Albaycin and all the city
