Comfortable mattress, bathroom small but clean, great mini-balcony, secure building. 9.3 Everything listed above. Would recommend. My wife is a clean-freak at our home. She was happy here. You don't get bothered by the noise downstairs since the hostal is on the 8th floor. The room is kind of tiny, but it's a hostal so you can't ask more fo that price...

Ideal location for catching subways, and just a few steps to the "Madrid Tour" bus. 8.7 a fabulous location for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. there is a "dunkin' donuts" around the corner & a "faborit" right next door so breakfast was easy to get. a reasonable sized triple room on the back had no view, but was quiet for sleeping since the grand via is a busy street. the private bathroom was small, but the shower was okay. no hairdryer supplied. the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Be sure to see inside the "Palacio Real" - free!
