The Maydrit is a well-appointed, clean and modern hotel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary shuttle was good although I missed the last one from the airport at 10:30 pm due to delayed flight. It is reasonably priced.

Immaculate hotel close to airport.

Lovely hotel within a few minutes of Barajas airport. The staff friendly and helpful and the rooms large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
There are a couple of restaurants nearby though not much else but the bar has a nice ambience and the food was well prepared and filling.
Free airport transfer however a fee is payable for Wifi which for a hotel of this standing is a most unwelcome.
All said, a superb hotel in a fantastic location for the airport but for me a little too far from the city centre for site seeing.

I must wait for 20 minutes of 2 queues for hotel registration. There is only one reception at 10 pm. while guests are coming continually. When I registration, there was another 2 queues waiting after me. Why they don't manage this better?
The shuttle bus starts at 7 am. If you want leave hotel earlier, you must call taxi. Why I choose this hotel? There is because of free shuttle bus to airport. Why they don't manage this better?
Hotel Feature Tip:
No hotel name when we come from metro station, there is quite difficult to find.

Good & they could easily be great

I'm a international business traveller who took a last minute sun break in madrid.
I was there for a one week break. The Maydrit was good but could be great. The hotel is very modern, clean, quiet, good food, nice but small outdoor pool and 5 minutes walk from a metro which going direct to gran via taking approx. 40 minutes.
Negatives: reception didn't give us enough info on arrival i.e. that internet was free, about food etc (and the restaurant seemed to be closed the first few days we were there), . . . there was a smell of smoke in the room . . . and the bar men were very rude (not the waiters!). . . . and that the curtains in the room wouldn't fully close and they failed to fix them. Finally . . . there were not English channels or pay per view TV.
I would recommend the Maydrit . . . and hopefully their management will read this as if they ironed out a few of the things mentioned above it would be a great hotel!!

The room design is great and very comfortable. And the bathroom is very good and we liked it very much.
The hotel is also close to a metro station which is about 30 min away from city center

We were to Madrid and this hotel was the best choice for us. The hotel has amazing rooms! has a Shuttle to the airpor each 30 mnts! Is very close to the metro also. You can go to Madrid Centre directly getting the line 5 To "Callao station"! amazing area to shopping, the best restaurants like "Sirena Verde" 200 mts from the station. I'll recommend this hotel to everyone!

Close to the airport and subway
Around 200m from the closest subway station and around 20min from the airport by bus or 10min by taxi. In addition you have a big shopping mall 15 minutes walking. Quite neighborwood.

As soon as I arrived, the attendant didn´t find my reservation. I didn´t have a printed one neither. After I checked my e-mail, the check-in was done. I missed a free internet acess available. the unique service costs 15 euros/day aproximately. The swimming poor was closed despite the good weather (30 degrees celsius), without any kind of advise.
