The Mediodia, built in 1914, is ideally placed for both the cultural tourist wishing to concentrate on downtown Madrid’s famous museums and art galleries and the train traveler wishing to tour all points in Spain from the Puerta de Atocha train station across the street from its property. 173 newly refurbished guest rooms, some with balconies, include wooden floors, fully equipped, spacious en-suite bathrooms with hair dryer, natural lighting with window views onto the city-scape, and free wireless internet. Facilities include a breakfast room serving continental breakfast and a bar/cafeteria serving drinks and refreshments but there are plenty of great eating and drinking places including tapas bars for local atmosphere at the Sol district, just a short walk from the hotel.

REASONABLE PRICE FOR THEIR SITUATION, THE FACE OF Atocha station. CLEAN. Attentive staff.
SMALL ROOM. FEW ACCESSORIES, ONLY bars of soap and dispenser GEL.
It is a hotel for a short stay as the rooms are small, and the old building. I threw in details missing in the room, as disposable toothbrush or bottle of shampoo. But for those who go to Madrid for a procedure, test or business, is an attractive venue for its price and location.

Rooms large, clean, with TV and minibar.
I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel midday as 6 years ago and I remember that the station was comfortable like this last time. I think that rounds off the hotel has undergone some kind of reform in the rooms and everything seems new and I do not remember that 6 years ago would have minibar. I parede appropriate offering price and quality and location in the heart of madrid.
