Nicely located hotel near Atocha train station

Less than 30 minutes away from airport, this hotel is nicely located near metro & Atocha train station. Staff speaks limited English, but good enough that they were able to make recommendation & reservation for my group to a flamenco show. Small rooms but good enough if you're just staying for a few days.

pleasant but room too small

It was just OK. The room we had was ultra small, wifey and I had a queen size bed and it barely has room for 1 person on each side of the bed to walk. The only window we had was looking out to an enclosed atrium, so it's kind of dark all the time (mostly cloudy and raining the period we were staying). The fridge didn't work, the wifi was slow. The elevator had a few hiccup with the door.
Nevertheless, the staff were pretty friendly. It's close to the museum of Prado and Huertas where all the tapas and bars are. It's close to the Atocha Metro and close to the Atocha Renfe.

Convenient, Comfortable & Clean
Highly recomended for those travelling in & out of Madrid via train. It's less than 5 min to metro station & 15 mins walk to shopping streets

Hotel has excellent service, wifi is good, location good. The only thing is that toiletries supply were only replenished once during my 4 night stay. It does not reflect the star rating & price

Functional clean hotel,very good soundproofing from the busy street on which it sits.
Excellent wifi throughout the whole hotel. Bedroom fine for one but for two could be a bit tight.
Breakfast not included in my rate but many cafes in the area for a cheap meal.
Close to Atocha station from where the airport express bus leaves €5,a much cheaper option than a taxi!
Restaurant Tip:
Do visit Botin the worlds oldest restaurant, its 15 min. stroll away

Clean hotel at decent prices. You can also find some tapas places just around the corner.

the hotel is just opposite the madrid main railway station - atocha. we travelled by AVE to madrid and just walk across the road. and metro station is less than 5 minutes from the hotel.
however, the area is abit busy. alot of restaurants nearby. wifi is working well but the room is abit small compared to the few other hotels we stayed.
walking distance to alot of great attractions in madrid as well. staffs are friendly and helpful. only a handful of them understand english well but is good enough to communicate.
would probably stay back in this hotel next time.
