good location.bad designed room layout

the rooms are very badly designed having internal bathrooms consisting of a glass box which encroaches on the bedroom space. impossible to get light for shaving in the bathroom and it is dangerous getting out of bed in the dark as the glass box is so close to the bed.
Shopping Tip:
carrer de fuencarrel is nearby and has many unusual shops as well as shops like diesel and gstar

Great location but small rooms

Lovely hotel in a great location
Located in the heart of madrid, clean modern rooms, friendly helpful staff.

The hotels location was fantastic! Right in the heart of Madrid only ten minutes to the clubs, bars and restaurants of Malasana on foot. And then minutes in the other direction to the bustling flea market at La Latina. The room itself was modern and very clean, if a little small. The bathroom again was clean and modern with a really good power shower. Being in the centre of town everywhere is in walking distance. We bought a ten trip ticket for the metro which we barely used preferring to walk and take in the beautiful city.
All in a brilliant trip that neither of us wanted to end. I would recommend Madrid and the Petit Palace Ducal Chueca to anyone.
Travel tip:
Don't buy a metro pass unless to intend to travel all over the city. Galleries and museums as well as restaurants, bars, and clubs are all In walking distance.

Mid in the center, shopping and night life
good location, very close to metro night life.

Very nice bath room with thermo bath, wooden floor. Bed is so large at it fills the room out, almost no space for luggages. Only one elevator that sometimes did not work since some people forgot to close the door. Breakfast is pretty good, and location is perfect, just some meters walk to Gran via station.

Perfect location in the central part of Madrid! the Metro is a few steps away and you can take a direct line to Atocha station (Mardrid's main and oldest train station! On Calle Gran Via, (a few steps from the hotel), you can hop onto the red line city tour bus which was perfect! there were restaurants and malls all around so this was indeed a perfect location for me!
