Petit Palace Plaza del Carmen Hotel Madrid Info
Providing 40 modern guestrooms, the boutique hotel is ideally situated close to the Puerta del Sol. The Petit Palace Plaza del Carmen Hotel is 12km from the Madrid International Airport. Situated in the center of Madrid, it is also just 200 meters from the Puerta del Sol. Guests are also within walking distance from the Gran Va, where guests will find many shopping centers, restaurants, shopping boutiques and nightclubs. A breakfast buffet is provided for guests before they start their day exploring. The four-star hotel is an excellent choice for travelers seeking modern comforts and a good location near central Madrids many attractions.

The location is wonderful, hard to beat. You may go to almost every major attraction by foot. Besides, you will be among three major stations meters (Gran Via, Puerta del Sol and Callao) which makes it very easy to reach wherever you want to go. The hotel is an old building but it \\ u0026 # 39; s hard to tell that once you get in it. Very modern inside, friendly staff and filled with lots of nice stuff like the complimentary coffee machine at the lobby or the laptop in the room with free access to the internet. The bathroom is magnificent, huge, and the shower is astonishing. The breakfast is also very good. Now, let \\ u0026 # 39; s get to the issues. The first obvious one is about the size of the room, very, very small indeed. It \\ u0026 # 39; s hard to store your clothes, to move around, to open the minibar, and so on. But the worse thing is that they do not turn on the air conditioning until summer is outside, which is really bad, cause our room (409) Has it \\ u0026 # 39; s window pointed to a very ugly part of the building and we would loose our privacy if it kept opened. So it gets really hot inside and there is nothing we could to about it. The mattress is also not that comfortable, harder than usual. After all, I have to say the Emperador Hotel is a very good place to stay if you are prepared to deal with those minor, but yet annoying issues.
