Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Perfect location to enjoy Madrid
Atmosphere street life outside hotel, central location

Staff friendly, I have stayed in this chain of hotels in Madrid and would recommend them for a city break.
Value for money and location excellent. Only complaint was drain smell in bathroom. But that seems to be a problem in area.

A disaster
Location is the only good thing
4.3
The location is great. The shower has a nice full body shower, but is surrounded by a plastic shower curtain full of mold and dirty. The water from the shower wets the entire bathroom and it is rotting the plywood furniture and the laminate flooring in the room. The room is not cleaned daily, but when the cleaning lady feels like it. I checked with other guests and they said the same thing. The bathroom sink is at the knee high. If you are tall (I am 5'11") you have to kneel down to use it. There is a thermostat in the room, but it is disabled. The heat is at outrageous high temperatures, If you stay for several days you will be roasted! Wireless Internet connection is useless, because it times out very quickly and you have a complicate sign in process every time and have to enter four password every day. There are a lot better hotel values in the same good location.

Excellent location for the right price
Central location to all major sites in the city.

I travelled to Madrid with my parents both of which are in their early to mid 70s. Proximity to major sites and ease of access to public transportation are 2 great features of this hotel. Major sites such as Plaza Mayor, Prado and Palacio Real are walking distance from the hotel. Other sites and the Atocha and Chemartin Renfe train stations can be easily reached by metro from the Puerta Del Sol station which is a few steps from the hotel.
We stayed in a room for a family of 3 adults. The room provided ample space. The only drawback is the noise coming from the street below and around the plaza. The noise is muted and is not unbearable but I suspect that it can be an issue to light sleepers.
Restaurant Tip:
Don't miss Mercado de San Miguel just outside of Plaza Mayor.

location is superb, just 5 mins walking distance to the metro station sol which is the centre to most attractions.
supermarket in the nearby department store comes in handy.
the down side:
1) poor sound-proofing of partitions
2) room is a bit small

Right in the heart of Madrid

The hotel was perfectly located and clean(ish) the room was very small, the staff were dispassionate and simply going about there business with no enthusiasm.
