The impressive hotel has 154 tastefully-decorated guestrooms and is a very sort walking distance from the famous Gran Via. The Regente Hotel is approximately a 25 minute drive from the Madrid International Airport. The property is surrounded by shopping boutiques, theatres, cinemas, restaurants and public transportation. Guests are a very close walking distance from the many shops of Gran Via and the exciting nightlife of the Chueca district. Nearby attractions include the Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and the historic area of Los Austrias. The three-star hotel provides guests with tasteful and modern accommodation, as well as an excellent location near the Gran Via.

Location is great for historic Madrid - close to many of the key sites and the Metro. Breakfasts are convenient and very nice.
Rooms are small and in need of renovation. Could have been cleaner.
The location of the Regente is perfect for visiting many of the fantastic tourist sites in Madrid, including the Royal Palace, Parca Retiro, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Sol, Museo Sofia Reina, and much more. The Metro line is also very close and very useful for getting to other areas. The hotel itself is in need of renovation. Some staff members were helpful, while others were not so.
Nightlife Tip : Jazz music at the Central Cafe was fantastic.

"Very central" Good service modern-Clean-Rooms
"I found a little unfair to ask us 40 euros to get out later than 11:00 if anyone was waiting to enter that day
I think it's a nice hotel, recommended for its central location. The meter on the door that lets you reach anywhere in Madrid quickly. The fairly large and clean rooms. The service good, staff attentive and the breakfast quite good. The only thing I liked was that they charged us 40 euros to get out later than 11:00 when there was no one waiting at the front desk to enter.
Nightlife Tip : To take a pint, play some pool or watch a football game, right before the hotel is a bar called "shooters" that's fine.

The location is fantastic. When you step out the door you're in the middle of where something happens. The staff at reception were very service minded. Breakfast we saw as very good, one morning we saw a little wait before we could put ourselves in that it was difficult to tables prepared. Cleaning The standard is top - clean towels every day, although we do not think it necessary.
