Built in 2002, the hotel has 70 well-equipped rooms in a Canary Islands theme, and is ideally located in the commercial heart of Madrid. The Siete Islas Hotel is about 200 from Preciados Street and 400 meters from Puerta del Sol. Guests are within a short walking distance from the nightclubs, restaurants, theatres, cinemas and shops of Chueca, La Latina and Gran Via. Nearby tourist attractions include Plaza Dos de Mayo, Palacio Real and the Prado Museum. Each floor is designed to reflect one of the Canary Islands. The four-star hotel provides guests with modern conveniences and an excellent location in Madrid�s central commercial zone.

near Madrid centre, quiet street, clean modern rooms, friendly reception
we ordered a two bed bedroom, instead we got a bed for two without explanation
We stayed three nights in this fine hotel, it was recommended to us by a regular Madrid traveler. We were very pleased with the warm welcome, the professional attitude and the respectful management of the hotel. We were aware of the hotel being located in the red light district of Madrid, plenty of sex shops in the street it didn't bother us since the hotel is only a few meters from the Gran Via, and nobody is actively inviting you to become a client of her servces ;-)
Restaurant Tip : Caballito in front of the Royal Palace is a very good and cheap Argentinian restaurant

close to city center, clean, nice breakfast, nice spacious rooms
We were very impressed with the hotel. It is in the city center and easy to walk everywhere. The rooms were nice and clean.
