This ultra-luxurious hotel features individual styling by multiple designers floor-by-floor that very well make it the most innovative hotel in the world. This is truly a gem of design, and it is a common experience to see the visitors staying on other floors wandering the halls in order to see the design of the other floors as they are all different and amazing. Just one look at their own website is enough to prove that this is a lodging experience like no other, and the experience of staying here will not soon be forgotten. The mid-level pool and fitness center is also a wonder of architecture as the panoramic view of the city seems to reflect off the pool further increasing the wonderment of this truly unique hotel. There are very few, if any hotels in the world that can compare with the trend-setting styles of this hotel and anyone who stays here will certainly leave with stories to tell for years.

Outstanding design. Each floor is designed in its own, unique style by different architects.
Very close to the metro stations. 2 blocks to Cartagena station and 4 blocks to Avenida de America (a larger station with bus hubs).
Front desk personnel was very kind and informative.
Gym in the 13th floor was very well equipped.
Great value for the money.
Ask to be shown the rooms before you decide based on a picture. Is worth the time and trouble. You'll be amazed.
Bar in the 13th floor is a great idea but the city view at night is extremely poor (not the hotel's fault). Prices are high, probably double than any other bar in town.
Cleaning personnel didn't replenish toiletries but it might have been a simple mistake and in no way diminish the quality of the hotel.
Very limited closet space with no available drawers. It might be a drawback from the modernist design of the room.
The room we stayed at was in the 8th floor. It was comfortable and of course ... gorgeous. The bed was suspended from the ceiling while the header was looking at the window allowing you to have a nice city view while laying on bed. The TV was hidden on the ceiling and of course out of sight. Convenient electronic controls for lights, curtains and windows.
From the airport would be better to go the Avenida of America station since you would need to make only one transfer otherwise you need to make 2 if you want to get to the closer Cartagena station. On the station exit at Avenida de America and go right. It would be about 4 blocks in your left.
Nightlife Tip : The Silken hotel has a nice bar in the 13th floor where you can listen to some live bands performing but is highly priced. Cocktails and drinks are about double the price than anywhere outside the hotel. Personally I would have no problem paying the price if the view would have been great but it wasn't and there is nothing the hotel can do about that.
