Solo travelers Australia, July 01, 2012	Very nice hotel between city and airport Very nice lobby and good sized rooms with beautiful bathroom 9 this was a great choice for someone flying out the next day to another spain destination, so good location to get into the city for the day and get to the airport the next day. the room was lovely and particularly the bathroom is very nice - big and with a bath. the bed was a bit hard because i prefer a softer matress, but the room was quiet and i got a good rest. the hotel lobby is very nice, quite big and you can go down and have a drink and something to eat while waiting for the plane the next day, whilst hooking yourself up to the free wifi. that was the main advantage for me, after check out i just used the lounge for a couple of hours before getting to the airport. you can take a bus into town for just 1 euro 50 and it takes about 35-40 mins. the metro station is too far to walk i think. the taxi home from town was just 15 euro. taxi to airport was roughly the same. the bar in the lobby at night was fine, with a nice guy giving me my sparkling wine, but the morning service was terrible, with a girl who couldn't speak english properly and i didn't like her attitude. be careful when ordering an iced coffee - you get the coffee and glass of ice separate! it was a bit of a shock and she was not friendly! service at reception was very nice and most of them spoke english and they printed out my next hotel voucher. i was very happy with the girls at reception. Hotel Feature Tip: A great hotel if you need the town one day and the airport the next day.
