Don Carlos is a an old hotel, but refurbished to modern standard concerning lobby and guest rooms. Breakfast is great and the location on the sea is fantastic with the best beach on Costa del Sol. The facilities are not to be rated 5 star class. The service and quality of food in restaurants are actually so poor guests are recommended to go to restaurants outside the hotel. Must be fixed ! Don Carlos is all about a good nights sleep, a great breakfast and a fantastic day on the beach. This is all about location on a great beach incl great pool areas and beach clubs with access to a long stretch of public beach. The hotel is now old, but the lobby area and guest rooms are refurbished to a modern standard. Breakfast is great and nicely served at poolside. The rest of food experience is just to forget. Nearby Elvira restaurant is the first place to go for dinner.
Restaurant Tip : Restaurant Elvira 400 m away is a real treat.
