Inner rooms are ok to keep cleaning material but not for a living being. Old, stinking, 50 year old matresses, to hot to sleep in December, tv not working, hairs in the bathroom, minibar stinking ....
The location is great but the hotel does not deserve 4 stars. Some rooms give you the feeling of having the cathedral bells besides your bed.
It has a terrace with a nice view. Take a drink there and escape far away so you get the rest you deserve for your money.

The Alcazar is a must see

Charm and great location
Quaint rooms in the heart of Seville

The hotel is just foot steps from the Cathedral and the Alcazar. It is within walking distance of almost all other attractions that Seville has to offer. The staff was very helpful in setting up dinner and a Flemanco show. The room is very modern as well as the bathroom. Comfortable and a great refuge from a busy day. The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar as well. We can not think of anything bad to say about this hotel. We had a great stay

Superb location, roof terrace with pool and views

Our stay in Sevilla was definately enhanced through our stay at Dona Maria. Spacious and well-equipped rooms, fantastic roof terrace with pool and bar (nice staff here), extremely magnificent views of the Cathedral and the city.
We will definately be back, although charging 13 EUR for breakfast was a bit steep.
Restaurant Tip:
Don't miss Las Columnas, a genuine bar around the corner with unique staff, like charcaters from a movie - lots of fun.
Also, instead of paying 13 EUR for breakfast, just go across the street and have a great bocadillo (sandwich) or breakfast combination at less than half that.

Service was brilliant, Hotel skydeck and pool overlooking the cathedral just world class, unique experience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want an historic hotel experience, but with luxury in the centre of one of Spains best cities and so close to everything you might wish to see and do, then this is teh Hotel for you.

Rooftop pool and terrace with astounding view of the cathedral

We travelled as two couples and were very, very impressed with the Dona Maria. The rooms were not large, but clean and up to date. The rooftop bar, terrance and pool provided a great place to relax, enjoy a cocktail and the incredible view of the cathedral. The hotel location was on the edge of the main Cathedral plaza and a short walk from all the other tourist sites (e.g., bull ring and museum). it was deal for exploring Seville and the staff was very helpful providing directions and making reservations for a fabulous Flamenco show during one evening.
Breakfast was great with a lot of variety and good service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Amazing view of the cathedral and a wonderful Flamenco performance.

Perfecte locatie

Wij verbleven hier met onze zoon van bijna twee in een extra kinderbedje. Daar was ruim voldoende plek voor. De locatie naast de Kathedraal en het Alcazar is perfect, ook loop je zo naar het winkelgebied. Er is weinig verkeer dus voor prettig voor kleine kinderen om even rond te lopen.
Het is wel even zoeken om met de auto je spullen uit te laden voor het hotel, ook geen parkeerplaats ter plekke (10 min. lopen naar parkeergarage). Vriendelijk welkom en gratis internet. Een fijn verblijf zeker voor de super aanbieding bij Agoda.

prima hotel
ligt mooi centraal in het oude stadscentrum, alles is daarmee te voet te bereiken

Prima hotel, doet misschien een beetje oubollig aan, maar kwaliteit is verder OK. We hebben geen ontbijt geboekt, is nabijgelegen in het centrum prima (en goedkoper) verkrijgbaar. Eigenlijk is er maar één belangrijk punt om rekening mee te houden: als je er met een navigatiesysteem naar toe rijdt hebt je een best avontuur voor de boeg: ontzettend smalle straatjes met scherpe bochten: groter dan een Polo is nauwelijks te doen. Advies om bij het plein naast de Kathedraal (mocht je daar eerder komen en gezien alle éénrichtingsverkeer is dat te verwachten) slechts 5 meter het éénrichtingsverkeerstraatje links aan het eind van het plein in te steken, scheelt een slok op een borrel.

Centraler om Sevilla te bezoeken kan een hotel niet liggen . In de directe buurt zijn de Katedraal, alcazar , de winkelstraatjes en de gezellige tapa gelegenheden . Het feit dat er dus geen restaurant is aan het hotel is zeker geen gemis . Ontbijt wordt gelukkig wel geserveerd . Hoewel het hotel in het midden van de stad ligt , toch geen last van het lawaai .
Travel tip:
Werkelijk alles wat Sevilla te bieden heeft ligt binnen bereik !
