Couples United Kingdom, February 22, 2013	first impression puts you on a high good facilities, rooms always clean, good buffett breakfast 9 this is the forth time we have stayed at the Al andalus Palace. we have always enjoyed it and have never had cause to complain. This appears to me a hotel that draws most of its income from conferences and weddings and the sheer size tends to undermine a more intimate relationship with the guest. However I qualify this by saying that staff have always been polite and friendly to us. On previous occasions the cocktail bar has been well attended but it looks like spain is really suffering at the moment as i was the only one there on a hursday night, the Italica restaurant at which we dined once and was quite pleased with it,was closed. Travel tip: suffers from being a couple of miles from the centre

Friendly and helpful staff. 9.3 Large hotel but still friendly. Light and airy with interesting layout. Good breakfasts and good food generally. A pleasure to stay there and would do so again. Lots of space to sit and relax.

Solo travelers United Kingdom, October 09, 2012	Great Hotel and price from an overall perspective Quality, Price, Service 8.7 I have just reurned from a 4 night stay at the Silken al-Andalus Palace Hotel, and I can only say great things about it as an overall analysis. Firstly, the only reservation anybody should have would be if you are a traveller who demands a city centre location - basically it is 3 miles out and is not feasible to walk into Seville. However, the mitigation to this one drawback is the regular buses that run every 10 minutes (stop 100 yards outside hotel) and take only 10 minutes to get to San Prado (centre). One note is last bus from Seville is at 11.30pm. but apart from the shopping centre and area around cathedral, you would need to walk to see the whole of Seville anyway so the fact the hotel is not central isn't really an issue As someone who prefers to be out of the centre but near enough to venture in, this was ideal for me. The hotel offered everything and more you could expect from a 4* hotel, the staff were friendly (and pleasing on the eye!, the swimming pool and area is superb and clean, and the fact the hotel is situated next to Real Betis stadium allowed me an easy trip to the match. It can e tricky to find places to eat at first, but this was only because I kep walking in the wrong direction. Tip: walk to Real Betis Souvenir shop and head in a '10 o'clock' direction - this will lead you to a small suburb with supermarkets, bars and restaurants just a 5 minute walk away. Excellent hotel....
