Location is good. Rooms are clean.
Every morning when the cleaners started work I was awoken with the noise.
I would recommend the Astoria Palace hotel to anyone looking for a central location. The buffey breakfast is good in the morning. If you are unlucky enough to get a waiter that does not understand a word you are saying you will not get your bacon, eggs and sausages though. Every taxi driver knows where the hotel is located so as soon as you mention "Astoria". This is a help as most people do not have a word of english in Valencia.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The city of art and science is well worth visiting.

Nice location. Downtown within walking distance. All major attractions reachable within 10 min. Metro only 5 min. walk. Buy 1-2-3 days tourist card for bus/metro and tourist attracions.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you have the possibility to watch a soccer-match between the FC Valencia and a competitor in the Spanish league - do so. Great fun. Buy tickets at the stadium right before the match.
