Alison C. Couples United Kingdom, April 22, 2013	Would have chosen a better standard of hotel Hot water, hot water,hot water 5.7 The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. The reception area needs to be updated. The decor is old. First room we were shown was at the back of the hotel.When we tried to open the sliding small window there was a ledge outside full of cigarette ends.The two single beds were hard and the covers creased. I went to reception and asked to be moved. There wasn't a problem with this. We were moved to the 6th floor right outside the lift and facing the main road. The room was light and we had a double bed. The bathroom was OK clean towels daily and plenty of hot water. You had to be careful walking on the carpet as it had seen better days. The wardrobe was tiny.We had opted not to have breakfast in the hotel. What a good choice. Plenty of cafes around doing breakfast far cheaper and a bigger choice than the hotel. The rooms were very hot but if the window was open the noise of the traffic was loud and carried on until the early hours. I wouldn't stay here again.

Taxis are easy to find in front of the hotel if you want to go out to the coast line. within walking distance to all the major sights
Xavier J. Couples Singapore, November 29, 2012	Great location and comfortable room 1 min walk away from the colon metro station 9.7 + The hotel is located near a shopping district, and is very safe. The hotel receptionist were friendly and willingly to help. The room that they allocated to me was big, warm, clean and comfortable. The attractions are mostly within walking distance. But if you wan to take metro, the nearest station (colon) is only 1 min walk away. The free wifi is quite fast too. - It may get a little noisy at times, but usually when we got back to the hotel, we were too tired and just feel asleep. The breakfast is simple so you may want to just head to the one of cafes or bakery nearby to find your breakfast. Overall, my friend and I really enjoyed the stay there. Highly recommended. And the price is afforable and reasonable too :D
