Placed firmly in the most strategic area of the city, this hotel occupies an old palace of the 19th century opposite the National Pottery Museum.Just a short walk to the Cathedral (Seu), visitors can also enjoy the emblematic symbol of the city, the Miguelete nearby. In the Plaza Ayuntamiento (Town Hall) people can hear ancient bells chime out the hours, while surrounding the Plaza are buildings from the city's golden age with a fountain in the center surrounded by flower stalls, open air cafes and street vendors.Hotel guests can borrow small-wheeled folding bikes to explore the Caril Biki (cycle paths in the alleys) or cycle down the wide paths of the Turia, which lead to the City of Arts and Sciences, the America's Cup Building, the old port and the beach.

The Petit Palace Bristol is a short walk from the cathedral, the central market, City Hall Square, Carmen, and the Serranos Towers.
If you go to Valencia to walk in the Old City and eat at some very good little restaurants, this is a great place to stay. We had a balcony room with a view of the baroque front of the Museum of Ceramics.
WiFi is unreliable, but there was a computer in the room with a cable that I plugged into my Mac.
There is no food service in the hotel besides breakfast. But you pass a dozen restaurants and bars every time you go around a city block.
It was about a 10-euro cab ride to the beach. I didn't use the Metro in Valencia, so I don't know how convenient the hotel is to that.
I'd stay there again.
