Silken Puerta Hotel Valencia Info
Quirky extras and interesting design make this hotel opposite the City of Arts and Sciences a unique choice for fussy travelers. Opened in 2004, the Silken Puerta is a striking city hotel both inside and out, its patterned exterior the work of Javier Mariscal and an interesting counterpoint to the architecture of the park opposite. The old town is a 15-minute walk from here along the pretty Turia riverbed and the beach is only a short metro ride away. Interiors match the hotel�s chic urban shell - rooms are contemporary and inviting with boutique toiletries, wall art and mood lighting supplementing the practical stuff like aircon, cable channels and internet access in the club rooms. Dining in the surrounding streets is of course abundant, but guests shouldn�t miss the hotel�s own Puerta Valencia Restaurant, stocked with fresh local produce and decorated with more art from Javier Mariscal. .

The wall is thin. Mini bar is expensive.
We spent 5 nights there and really enjoy the service and room.
We really love room design. It's modern and new. Room is quite big and has two sofa that you can relax with your drink. Toilet also beautiful and clean. They prepared book about tourist information in Valencia in the room too.
Location is great. There are many restaurants around there. We found one that's good and not expensive. So we went there 2 days. First and the last day. The restaurant in the hotel is good too. It's nearly same price as other restaurant. Good service and good taste Tapas. You should try it. Metro staion is not far from hotel.
Reception is nice, helpful and good at English.
Only 2 thing that we not satisfied is price of mini bar. It's expensive if compare to Hotel in Barcelona that we stayed. And the wall is thin you can hear your neighbors talked and not possible to sleep late cause it's noisy when maid start to work. You will wake up every time when they closed the door.
