The hotel is located just opposite the railwaystation and has good connections to everywhere. The single room was small and a bit old fashioned. But otherwise the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast room was quite crowded in the morning and it wasn´t so easy to find a seat if you were traveling with others.

Rooms were really nice. Big comfy bed and plenty of room for 2 people. Hotel is in a very central location. The major shopping centre is literally a 50m walk outside the door and the central train station is only about 200m away.
Nightlife Tip:
Head up to the Gothenberg museum at night. They have a bar that is open on the stairs of the museum and looks all the way down the main street.

We have stayed att this hotell severel times because it has a very good location. Close to shopping, trainstation and buses. The hotel is very modern in a nice comfortable way.
The service is not so good though and the staff is not so helpful.

Grand Hotel Opera is located center of Gothenburg, it is very convenient to reach every destination. I have a great memory due to the help of "Kajsa" who is working at the front desk. When I had a payment problem, she reacted with proactive manner and it was unforgettable to me and my colleagues. I'd definitely stay Grand hotel opera due to her devoted support. Thank you, Kajsa!!!
