Update the room interiour This was a very calm and relaxed stay. The environment of the hotel was marvellous! I could easily slip out in the evening before dinner for a nice and refreshing walk in the brisk air and at the shore of the beautiful Stockholm archipelago. I could recommend this for anyone looking for peace and quite, even though it's just 30 minutes by car from Stockholm city centre.

Picturesque setting, lovely old hotel, big rooms, nice breakfast, views from the room. long way to the centre of town and expensive taxi ride. The hotel is idillic, set right on the water front overlooking small marinsa and boats, beautiful views, elegant rooms, lovely atmosphere. Nice buffet breakfast. If you are looking for elegance and country setting, this is the hotel for you. Taxi to the centre is a long way and expensive, but there is a tain nearly outside the front door of the hotel. Very pretty place, was ideal romantic setting for my girlfriend and me.

Overlooking the sea and only a 30min train ride from downtown Stockholm is the magnificent Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden. The train station is 2 mins walk from the train and there are at regular interval of 15min. The hotel is very quiet and offers spacious rooms with sea view and the small harbor. The breakfast buffet is very abundant and varied. Saltsjobaden not offer many possibilities regarding the dinner, the restaurant of the Grand Hotel and another small harbor open this season until Fri-Sat and Sun evening, then you should eat in town and then back to the hotel. We were very happy with the choice made in regard to housing because it is not difficult to reach, thanks to Stockolm card do not need to worry about tickets for various pubblici.Inoltre means the environment is wonderful and the staff very helpful. Easy and free internet access is also that you have a PC with you or not.

Comfortable rooms, beautiful place, good service, easy access to downtown air conditioner not cooling It was a pleasant experience. The staff is very helpful and the location of the hotel but away from the tourist center is located in a beautiful area in front of a dock. Access to downtown is through a train that runs every 30 minutes and is right in front of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast great. I recommend it very well

The hotel has good location with view over the water from my room. Large and beautiful room with a comfortable armchair! Some small ants in the bathroom! Should be comfortable to eat more than breakfast at the hotel. A little rundown! Appreciate such hotel that has charm. Great illuminated at night. Fine walking trails in the area around the hotel. On your walk, we went past the beautiful houses and beautiful buildings - many with bars. Was greeted with "hi" to the locals when we went one and it put us on the price. Short distance to the train from the hotel, it was also to get in Slussen.
