We were very impresses with the friendly, helpful, informed staff. Upon arrival it was difficult to get access to the hotel without a mobile phone. However, we learned that the hotel does send an access code by email. You might want to get this sent to you prior to leaving home if you travel without a phone.

Simple hotel with good breakf.
Few rooms with own bathrooms. No problems for us to find a shower/toilet. Even in daytime there is free coffe/cake and fruit which we appreaciated

We did visit the great musical Jesus christ superstar with artists like Ola Salo etc. Only a 10 min walk to the theatre. One evening we eat at a great vietnamesic resturant only 7min walk from the hotel. Food was excellent. Close to the hotel there is a lot of restaurants and with the metro from Mariatorget it is close to everything in Stockholm.
The evening we arrived the person working in the hotel reception was not so nice, but the other days people in reception was very nice to us.

Lovely hotel but not so great ater-care

I was very impresesd with the high ceiling of my room. It was also not as noisy as I expected. What I was dissapointed with was what happened after I checked out. I left my luggage until my train time but I didn't realize that I'd left some of my things in my room. I came back to collect my luggage some 4 hours afterwards but no one told me about my left-behind stuff, which they easily could have done. I only realized that I'd left some of my things once I got to my next destination.

This hotel is well-located (close to metro and a nice walk to Gamla Stan even in winter). Te breakfast and 24 hr snacks is a big plus in an expensive city! Hornsgatan is a nice street with bars and shops.

I was a very good stay, good location 2 min away from metro (T-Bana) and the surrounding has restaurant and super merket. All the staff is helpful with good suggestion on how to go about only thing is share bathroom bit it wasn't any problem and freeflow of milk, yogurt, tea , coffee at the common area.
Shopping Tip:
I has 2 super market at the corner of the street so it was easy to get things you may need.

The staff, especially the ladies, are really nice and helpful. The first day she introduced Stockholm and the places I better to visit! I also love the breakfast, you can always have fruit or drinks either in the mornings or evenings. Location is also perfect, it is on the main shopping street and close to the metro station. It is within a walkable distance to most of the places of interest.
I just like this place! I'll definitely book here again if i go to Stockholm in later time;)

It was a very plasent in this hotel , very friendly & helpful stuff , it a simply hotel but very confortable that serve drinks and snacks all days at the food area.
Restaurant Tip:
Good location surrounded with restaurant & cafe plus nearby there is 2 big super market .

Small private hotel with nice atmosphere

we had a good weekendstay at the hotel hornsgatan. we were well taken care of and the atmosphere of the hotel was nice and kind of like a private home. breakfast was good and at any time you can help tourself to a cup of coffe and something to eat in ihe diningroom. we had some disturbance from a nightclub downstairs, but the manager took care of the situation in a very good way. we had another room for our second night and got compensation.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Old Town in teh centre of Stockholm is nice for shopping and strolling along the narrow alleys.

Travel tip:
Södermalm is the really hype area in Stockholm at the moment.
