Clean, tidy and comfortable rooms, kind and helpful staff, good breakfast - variety of food, a bar with very pleasant atmosphere, subway station nearby (15 min ride to Stockholm center), beautiful surroundings with walk/jogging path along the lake coast and through forest, restaurants and bars near

Can't book this hotel any more with Agoda - what happened?
I was very happy to find this hotel, as it's located 50m from my business partner's site and just 200m from the Alvik subway station (15 min ride to Stockholm center). The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable and staff is kind and helpful. The surrounding is very beautiful: a lake with a walking/jogging path along the coast, through a forest and peaceful and quiet residential areas. The Alvik square (50m) had everything I needed: an ICA shop with long open hours (I think till 22:00), a good quality business cloths shop (although expensive!).
The best of all is an amazingly good price with Agoda which made an excellent value/money ratio.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast was sumptuous,it came with porridge and fried noodles too. There were many Chinese as the porridge were gone in no time. Since the hotel is situates on Green line, we did not have to change other line as main attractions such as Gamla Stan, National Museum are on Green line too.
Restaurant Tip : There was a restaurant (fish mascot hanging outside the restaurant)just next to Gamla Stan station that serves good fish at reasonable price.

First time I stayed in the Scandic Alvik hotel for a business trip to Stockholm. I will definitely return to this hotel. Inviting modern lobby area with nice hotel bar. Restaurant offers local dishes with very good value. Rooms look newly renovated and have modern furniture. Shopping area and restaurants in walking distance. City center can be reached by the nearby subway (4 minutes walking) in just 10-15 minutes. A define place to stay and return
