Recently opened in 2002, the Novotel features 171 rooms modern and spacious rooms near the trade show center. When we say near, what should really be said is that it is right next door to it. Therefore, this hotel should definitely be considered for anyone needing to attend a venue there. There is a bar and restaurant on-site serving Swiss and International favorites of many types and there are also a great many options for dining in the immediate area around the building. If getting to the city center is a priority, the tram stop is within 200 yards and takes about 10 minutes to reach inner Basel. Novotel is known throughout the world for providing quality rooms at a nice price and this location is no exception to that rule.

well priced good location
breakfast cost 26 euro
which i believe is outlandish and did not indulge
I stayed in an apartment which was excellently appointed(did not include breakfast see above).
staff quite hospitable if a little stilted .
Neat little bar area.
Travel tip : Right next to exhibition centre .
