Very nice, central location
nicely decorated & spacious rooms

Overall a good stay in a classy hotel with a strange budget mixture since breakfast was shared with a budget hotel. Nice decorated rooms, big bathrooms and a very friendly staff. Location is perfect to experience Basel and when coming by train (just opposite of Bahnhof). Nice feature are the free public transport tickets.

breakfast wasn't really worth it The hotel is very easy to locate from the rail station and is in a good location. The train pass makes it easy to get to areas with restaurants and shopping. The reception was helpful. The rooms are small but well designed and very comfortable. The breakfast was not worth it and the money better spent elsewhere. I enjoyed the hotel and it met my needs.

In front of the station. Basel the next day gave me a ticket the day of unlimited travel in a tram and bus. Friendly reception staff. Old building. Had not been cleaned very nicely. Because stairs to the entrance, slower to carry a heavy suitcase. At night, the train arrived in Basel, it was scheduled to fly out the next morning, this was the use of convenience. To get from the airport bus station, was convenient for both days. For dinner, they head to downtown, but I got on the tram, so go away and was walking in a convenient location so that tourism does not feel well. Mandatory meal for three was unknown and not available for.
