This hotel is very central. The rooms are quite small, but very clean and quite adequate. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not for you, but if you want something that's good value for money, clean and comfortable it will suit you fine.

The hotel is in a great location. 5 minutes walk from the train station and to the market, 10 minutes to the Zyclogne clock&Eienstein's house and 15 minutes to the bear park. The reception is friendly and be able to speak English. The room is clean and spacious. The hotel offers us 2 free welcome drinks at the hotel's bar.
Restaurant Tip:
The local beer at the hotel's bar is the best beer in Europe.

Stayed only for one night on a business trip after 10 days of holidays. Very close to the train station, not a problem to walk there even with lots of luggage. Internet (wireless) was included; we actually got two separate access codes to connect 2 devices at the same time. Could have got more as well if necessary. It's real Internet access as well, meaning that after logging in you get unrestricted access (as opposed to only web access). Speed was very good.
The bed was relatively small, so was the bathroom. The bathroom looked a bit run-down as well.
Breakfast was continental with a good range of items; nothing too fancy though.

handy location right in then middle of bern old town. warm friendly service by the reception staffs. by the time we reached this hotel we ran out of clean clothes, but there was laundry available for a fee.
we had a pleasant stay although the room prices were high compare to the room amenities which were quite basic.

In Europe it's pretty hard to get hotel rooms of the size common in North America and Asia; this hotel has such sized rooms, we fit comfortably in there. The location is certainly great, you can walk immediately to top tourist sites in old town, and very easy walk even with luggage from train station (tho we took a cab the first not knowing how close it was). I do also want to mention that the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly; sometimes in Europe I find the staff more efficient than outgoing. While it's better than Best Westerns in the US, it's not a high end hotel, though I think it's very good value. Free internet for all your devices a big plus

Das Hotel liegt super in Zentrum. Frühstück ist sehr gut. Leider ist es für die kleinen Zimmer und den Komfort in den Zimmern zu teuer.

Ein durchschnittliches Hotel an guter Lage in der Berner Altstadt. Zimmer hatte hübschen Balkon und ein einigermassen geräumiges Bad.
