The best features are the location, the attention paid by the front desk staff, and the cleanliness of the rooms. The double room I stayed in had no drawers to store clothes, although I was there for six nights. I found that to be inconvenient. Also, the breakfast room had some deficiencies, such as not proper utensils for cutting fruit, running out of hard boiled eggs, and lack of fruit salad after the first day, substituting instead less quality canned fruit. The Cornavin is essentially a fine hotel in an excellent location convenient to public transportation and within walking distance to many restaurants and city center locations. The rooms are small but efficient, well sound-proofed and comfortable. For the price I would recommend it.
Restaurant Tip : Roberto's Italian restaurant across the Mont Blanc bridge was excellent, although a bit expensive.

Great view from the breakfast room. Extremely quiet even if near the train station. Lousy wireless Internet speed in the room Overall the Hotel is a great value. It’s in the center of town and easy to go anywhere. Comfortable room, great breakfast and nice view, especially for breakfast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Park near the university. Wall sculpture of the founders of Genava

Comfortable This is a clean, modern and simple hotel very well located, just steps away from the train station.
The room had nothing special but the bathroom was new, clean and certainly the best part of the room.
Even though the room Internet is a bit expensive, it also offers convenient free Internet at the lobby for boarding pass printing and quickly checking things.
The standard/list price is a bit overpriced, but there are regular offers that would make this hotel a good value.
Overall, it is a good place to go to sleep.

From Geneva Airport : After the custom, take on your left and walkthrough the whole building. Go through the revolving door, you will enter the railway station. Buy your ticket to Geneva or Lausanne or Berne at the counter on the opposite side of the hall. For Geneva take any train that leave the station as every train stops in Geneva Main Station.
