Very good location, breakfast included, comfortable bed.
The Savoy Hotel is only steps from Geneva main train station which serves as a local hub for train, bus, and tram lines. In the opposite direction, the hotel is only about 4 or 5 blocks from Lake Geneva. Across the bridge, you will find yourself very close to the old-town tourist attractions and also to important shopping & dining locales. Our Agoda booking included a hearty breakfast. Standard rooms are rather small (particularly the bathroom), but you should not feel cramped unless you spend much time indoors. All in all, this property represents a good value-for-money option.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : During our visit, the Hotel Savoy provided a complimentary pass good on all public transportation during the length of our stay. Public transportation is very, very safe & efficient in Geneva.

-In center of town.
-Right by train station/main bus lines.
-Clean.
-Friendly staff.
-15 minutes from airport, but easy public transportation so it was OK (and worth it since it's in the center of town).
If you are looking to see Geneva on a budget this is an excellent hotel. Clean, friendly staff, amazing location. We just walked right out and went into the town center - very easy. Great value for your money, could not have asked for anything more. The breakfast included was fine, nothing spectacular, but was a decent assortment to choose from.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit Interlaken if possible - much nicer than Geneva!

Very good location. Just opposite the train station and also in the middle of the city center.
Rooms is a bit small and not that comfortable. Breakfast have to go next door pub and the staff is not that friendly.
The best thing about this hotel is its location which is very near to the main train station. It is just 5 minutes walk and its very convenient. The buses or taxis are easily accessible near the hotel. But i find that the room is a bit small and not that comfortable. The toilet is not that brightly lighted either.

It was great to simply cross the road from the train station - having just come from the airport. The lake was just a few minutes walk down the boulevard adorned with cafes and shops. The day was kick-started with a full-on breakfast and piping hot fresh coffee in the relaxed atmosphere of an adjoining bar.
By mistake I left a shirt hanging up in my cupboard - and expect I'll never see that again!
With a lot of hotel choice in Geneva the emphasis should be on convenience and value. The Savoy has this in spadefuls as its location, right by the railway station, and easy connections to the rest of the city make it a perfect
good value base for anyone planning a short trip to Geneva. The day begins with a hearty breakfast and piping hot fresh coffee which is a real tonic before launching out to take on the city!
Nightlife Tip : Don't accidentally stray into the streets behind Hotel des Alpes - a very seedy bar and club area with dodgy men hanging around .
