excellent service,excellent location and good breakfast, excellent amenity in room. too small stroage room and water in bathroom is not clear. Since there is no air con,on 13 may in spring,it is hot however I had not opened windows due to expecting a cool weather a night and want no noise.No place for your belongings if wanting to leave them on your early check-out for your full day trip.

Our stay at Hotel du Nord,Interlaken turned out to be more than what is promised in the net. Soon after arrival 2 beautiful members of the Hotel knocked at our door with an unexpected but very refreshing drink, All the staff were over helpful in suggesting places to visit especially keeping in mind that me and my wife were Sr citizens. Strongly recommend this Hotel at a very approachable place and in a reasonable budget. Check in and out timings are though a bit odd with barely less than 22 hrs or even less due to the different train timings in and out of Interlaken. Hotel du Nord is one of the best budget hotels to stay whose rooms are v comfortable, has a security locker, a fridge with its bar and a kettle also if you want hot coffee.Very good pictorial room from our our window made our stay memorable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walking distance from all shopping sites and the station (East)

Near the train station Interlaken Ost The front desk staff is extremely attentive. They gave me a room overlooking the mountains. The room is spacious and no carpet. The location is great, close to the train station Ost (10 min. Walk). What is weak is the breakfast could be better by the level of the hotel.
