Interlaken is a good location for traveling around
Traditional swiss house, nice breakfast

The room is spacious, with its traditional swiss style. However it is far away from the train station, which is around 20 mins walk. Local bus can reach the hotel but last bus around 7pm, which is quite early after a visit in other cities.

during the swiss trip, I love Hirschen hotel the most! A home style hotel make us feel comfortable and warm. Even thought it is quite far away from the station, but we have rent a bike instead of walking. So it is nice enough.

Lovely hotel, typical swiss style, good locations

We booked it since Interlaken is the perfect location for ski travellers in jungfrau area.
The hotel is lovely,the staff very closed to your needs.
We choose a room with private bathroom, there are also some with shared bathroom.(looks quite common in that area).
Once there they also provided a two days transportation tickets, but we haven't used it since its location is max 5 min walking from the city center. But surely should be a plus considering the price of swiss transportation ;).
Breakfast very good!!!
i will be back anytime i plan to go skiing there.
Reccomended!
The in-house restaurant is superb!

Classic design and clean room

This hotel is very classic/traditional, is really a typical Switzerland design, really like the design. They serve a typical Europian simple breakfast, which you can experience the live of Europian. Staff here is very friendly and helpful. Rememnber to get the "Guess Pass" from the hotel so that you can have a free ride by bus. Room is simple and clean. Wifi is excellent.
The hotel is located at center of Interlaken, so all the shop are closed starting from 7pm, so make sure you have all you need before get back to hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Interlaken houses design is very unique, extremely nice landscape and fresh air. It is a must to go all the way up to Jungfraufoch.
Cons - everything in Interlaken are extremely expensive

This is a small hotel with more than 300 yearas of history. They served nice breakfast and lady boss from Germany is super friendly and helpful.
The promotional voucher provided by her saved us CHF200+ on our train ticket.
The only sad thing is the hotel is renovating during our stay and we are not able to capture the beautiful wooden structure in our camera.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to Interlaken Ost station and use their train service to Jungfraujoch railway station. The whole trip (rounded) may take 5-6 hours and cost around CHF180/adult. But you will not regret!

Lovely hotel with great breakfast

Switzerland is a very expensive place but the hotel room rate was reasonable when you are staying in Switzerland. The hotel is very old, the wooden floor creaks every time we walk on it. The rooms were refurbished. Bathroom was clean but the carpeted room had a kind of strange smell.
The looks of the building was gorgeous. It was decorated with ivy and flowers. The breakfast was great, offering different kinds of hams and tea, though boiled eggs were the only hot food I could find. I love the hotel though.
