It's in the middle of the wonderful town of Lucerne. If you want to visit the town: sleep at the Jail. But not longer than 3 nights unless you are a real convict. Anyway, it's been a jail so don't expect grand luxury.
PS: breakfast is very okay.

the bathroom is very minimum, don't have fear of hights when sleeping, and it can be hot during the summer.

Ya It was a great feeling staying in a jail house.Very unique experience once I got rid of the fear of bein locked in.VERY EXCITING.Will recommend it to my young married son and daughter.They should enjoy it specially the Disc and Bar downstairs.
