We got a free upgrade to stay at the Monopol Hotel. Very much worth for comming back. Rooms are clean n big, 50 meters from the train station and at the heart of Luzern. Very helpful and friendly staff. The only minor issue is that there is no wifi connection at the rooms. Other than that...no issues at all.

The design of the room was very modern and we liked that it was bigger than other city hotel rooms. The location of the hotel was wonderful, near to the train station and very close to the places of attraction. We were able to walk everywhere comfortably.

The room we had at Alpina Hotel was spacious and newly renovated. There in one interesting thing in this hotel which has the tiniest elevator i have ever taken. It fits us 2 adults and 1 child just nice. The luggages we had have to be taken up on a second trip! imagine how small the space is.
For breakfast we had to walk to the next building which is their sister hotel.
Overal we enjoyed our stay at Alpina Hotel!
