This hundred-year-old property has modern facilities in a pretty and peaceful quarter of the city. A 15-minute walk from the train station and five minutes from the riverbank, the Drei Konige Hotel has comfortable rooms and a quiet aspect, despite its central location. Accommodations are simply and comfortably furnished and include bright attic spaces and rooms with balconies that overlook the mountains and the pastel facades of Lucerne�s old townhouses. Though the immediate area is quiet, revelry and action lie close by � it�s an easy ten-minute stroll to the old town from here and clubs and bars can be found two blocks away along Pilatusstrasse. In lieu of partying, a nighttime walk along the river to the illuminated Chapel Bridge also makes for a memorable evening.

No one on reception Thursday or Friday nights
The hotel was approximately 15 minutes easy walk from the railway station. Our room was large, very clean and the bathroom cleaned thoroughly each day. Quite a good variety of food for breakfast. Staff were pleasant and though it didn't worry us that there was no one on reception on either a Thursday or Friday night people wanting to stay out late might find it a bit annoying to have to remember a code for the door. Quite a variety of restaurants handy for evening meals.

Location location location.
Parking can be problematic.
Nice basic accommodation in a funky old building that is well situated for walking around town. The breakfast was basic, and the service at all levels was competent. The room on the top floor was larger than expected but the bath had low pressure. The bath was also large, and clean. I will try to stay there again when I return.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Know the parking laws, they are not the same as you might think and tickets are EUR80.

location is near to train station and easily get there by bus no. 10. a very simple hotel which suitable for budget traveler.
