This luxurious hotel is located on top of the the highest mountain in Switzerland and is a great skiing location. The hotel houses stylish and cozy guestrooms complete with excellent amenities and comfortable furnishings. The Alpenhof Hotel houses an excellent international style restaurant and there is a great selection of local cafes around the area. There is also a sauna center for guests to take advantage of complete with all the latest equipment. The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to many of the areas important ski slopes makes the hotel popular with people visiting the area.

Spa was great - exceeded all expectations - several different areas - could actually just go to the hotel to enjoy the spa and ignore the mountains!! Service was great. Views from room marvelous. Location of hotel is near to main street and with easy walking distance to the town.
Honestly - all great - no weaknesses
Great hotel. Nice staff. Easily accessible location. Rooms clean. Not massive, but decent size. Spa facilities were great- lots of rooms with lots of different options - highly recommended hotel based on the spa alone. Near to Gorngergrat railway for access to mountains/slopes. Perfect Swiss hotel with great local feel. Breakfast great and dinners in evening looked lovely. Nice bar area with good atmosphere.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you have a Swiss rail pass you can get a 50% discount on the Gornergrat railway.
