The location of the hotel is quite good about 15 minute walk from the train station. The best thing is that it has a kitchen for you to ale your own meal. The room has a balcony. A choice value for money.

The hotel was not too difficult to walk to from the railway station, though checking in was a bit of a hassle as the hotel reception counter was at another place just 2 minutes from the apartment. But other than that, the location was really good as the town centre is just 2 minutes away, the railway up to Matterhorn is just 5 mins walk away. Room is cosy, with a kitchenette which helps with settling our own meals without spending a bomb at restaurants. Overall very good place to stay over for two nights to enjoy the neighbouring scenic areas.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Matterhorn is a must go! You can also plan to take the glacial express when you leave Zermatt.

Attached kitchen, washing machine and dryer are very useful

The attached kitchen enables us to cook our simple meals inside the apartment which is very useful. The toilet is a little bit small but the washing machine and dryer inside the kitchen are very useful.

It's not for from Zermatt railway station, just walk for 5 minutes. We had to for to Hotel main office to get the key to get in the apartment. It's service apartment full with kitchen. We bought raw material and cooked! It's locate in the nice place where you can see Mount Mathahorn in front of apartment.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Zermatt is a small lovely town. You can take a walk around Zermatt and find some lovely coffee shop or resuarant. You have to take Gornergrat bahn to the top and you can enjoy the great view of Mathahorn! You can take a half or full day. You can enjoy the scenary on the way up to mathahorn....

Zu empfehlen: "Monazit" (über Hotel Astoria)
Appartment-Haus "Monazit" in Zermatt:
Sehr schönes Doppelzimmer mit ausgestatteter Einbauküche, Dusche/Badewanne/WC, ausreichend Sitzplätzen mit Tisch, TV sowie Balkon mit Liegestuhl, Tisch sowie Stühlen für den Abend.
Die Lage mit < 5 min kurzem Fussweg zur Talstation der Bergbahnen ist hervorragend.
Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Kopplung mit dem 2 min entfernten Hotel Astoria, dessen sehr freundliche Betreuung an der Rezeption und im Frühstücksrestaurant wirklich bemerkenswert ist.
Ebenso ist die kostenlose Nutzungsmöglichkeit des WLAN-Anschlusses für "Monazit"-Gäste im Hotel Astoria zu erwähnen.

Meine Bewertung von Verpflegung und Mitarbeitern bezieht sich jedoch auf Hotel Astoria.

きれいな部屋でとても快適な滞在ができました。お部屋にキッチンがついているので、料理をすることができたのが特に良かったです。wifiがないので、wifiが必須な人にとっては不便かもしれません。スタッフの人もとても親切で、ツェルマットへ来るときには、また利用したいと思いました。最後になりますが、チェックイン時、別のホテルのレセプションへ行く必要があるので、宿泊する際にはその点を注意してください。
