This elegant hotel is located in the heart of Switzerlands attractive skiing district of Zermatt. The Couronne Hotel is ideally situated near to the main mountain range and most of the well known hiking trails are within easy reach. The hotel features spacious guestrooms all of which are clean and comfy with large bathrooms and elegant furnishings. The hotel is very popular with locals as well as international guests thanks to its top of the range amenities and genuinely friendly and professional staff. There are a whole host of delicious dishes available at the hotels in-house restaurant and there are many additional cafes and bars outside.

don't believe the advertising material which says each room has a view of the Matterhorn.
Each room has a view, but only one side of the hotel looks out to the matterhorn.
Great standard for a 3 star hotel. Rooms were very spacious and location is excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
It is a shame that there aren't hot tubs or a sun deck.
The accommodation is expensive for what you get, but then it is in line with other Zermatt prices.

Fabulous views from most rooms. Great location for all Zermatt activities.
Not having a door out on to the balcony outside our room.
Couronne Hotel Zermatt is in a good location, has large comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was better than most European hotel breakfasts. The hotel (like most in Zermatt) has a free electric shuttle to the train, which makes it easier than trundling your suitcase from the train station, it is about a 10-15 minute walk otherwise.
