lovely hotel and great service
Good view of Matterhorn the minute you step outside of the hotel. Not far from railway station. Clean room and good breakfast. Near to restaurants and mini super market.

The service was great. It was raining the day we arrived. We called the hotel for transport and they picked us up from the train station, all complimentary. The 2 lady officers we interacted at the reception were cheerful, friendly, efficient and very helpful. Room was clean. We were lucky that we were given a room with a view on the 5th floor, even though it was not the Matternhorn, it was still lovely. The hotel provided umbrellas for rainy days. If we visit Zermatt again, we will stay there again.
Travel tip:
If you have lots of luggages, call for the free transport to and from the hotel. If you need hot water, just ask the reception.

Great Hotel, Fantastic Views

Great hotel. We had one of the cheaper rooms but still had great views of the mountains from our windows. Rooms were spacious, clean with a nice bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with the best view of the Matterhorn from the breakfast area. Hotel is near the church and close to everything. Highly recommended.

we stay there for one night which i should say that it is very cozy and the room and nice and big . we have a balcony that faces straight towards matterhorn mountain .
one word i would definite stay if i would to visit swiss again .

great location with fantastic view to mt. mat-horn, upgrade ouwer room to honeymoon room and the room was big and the bed was so comfort! nice hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Restaurant old zermatt had good meal (The pork with cheese was so delicious)

Good hotel in picture postcard town.

Hotel is located in centre of town. Easy walk from station or hotel will pick you up. No cars just enclosed electric carts. Perfect picture post card town all year round. Even the train journey is fantastic. The view of the Matterhorn while having breakfast and the early morning sun on the East face is magic.
Travel tip:
Catch the cog train to the top for a better view of the mountain or skiing. In Winter watch out for the toboggans flying down the street.

Great standard for a 3 star hotel. Rooms were very spacious and location is excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
It is a shame that there aren't hot tubs or a sun deck.
The accommodation is expensive for what you get, but then it is in line with other Zermatt prices.

Couronne Hotel Zermatt is in a good location, has large comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was better than most European hotel breakfasts. The hotel (like most in Zermatt) has a free electric shuttle to the train, which makes it easier than trundling your suitcase from the train station, it is about a 10-15 minute walk otherwise.
