This is a wonderful chalet hotel boasting excellent views and a fine, wooded interior --excellent for honeymoon travelers to Zermatt looking to do some skiing. In a changing Zermatt, It's nice to have a hotel keeping its wooded and historical, mountain village charm. This one has it all; alpine balconies, fine old-world artwork, gorgeous and thoughtful sitting areas and well appointed rooms. The restaurants have a romantic log-cabin feel and are excellent for the romantics; have a look at their extensive wine menu and unwind by candlelight. For getting out around the area, the hotel is right near the main transportation lines and near the ski lift. Quiet, reserved, sophisticated and beautiful, this Zermatt resort is in a league of its own.

Staff are all really great. I love the Japanese! Staff and called me for advice or care what some questions. Although a bit away from the station, and spend a beautiful and comfortable rooms. Many types satisfactory breakfast. I think it pays for hotels.
