Atlantis Guesthouse Hotel, Zurich

Atlantis Guesthouse was located near the train station, but it was not so near the main station. It was still convenient to go to the city center. It was clean, and good enough for our 4-day stay in Zurich. The beds were large, which is a plus. Service is good and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was average -- the usual continental buffet. I heard the hotels in Zurich are usually overpriced, so this hotel gives us the value for our money. Although it was far from the city, it was convenient enough for light travelers and those who want to see a different side of Zurich.

Although the room are small but the breakfast was real good here.

Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend break. Easy to reach, even by Public Transport from both City and Airport. S10 train runs frequently from Zurich HB, then a short walk from Triemli station. Get off the train, turn right, follow the path down the hill to the level crossing (there are signs for the hotel) and then follow the path, the hotel is right in front of you - two minute walk at the most. If you look at maps you won't find a road, its all pathway. Breakfast buffet was excellent - yes it was all cold but that's expected in Europe. Choice of cereals, breads, rolls, croissants, jam, meat, cheese, yoghurts, etc etc etc, plus tea/coffee and fruit juice. Room was on the small side but ample for two people, we were out most of the day, the bed was a King. Bathroom good size, deep bath with shower over, no problem there although as one reviewer has said the hair drier is a little slow-doesn't worry me though! Excellent staff, all very helpful, stored our bags too. The hotel is a great place for easy access to all the sights and would recommend and visit again.
