Lovely little hotel out of the bustle.Well appointed room with good amenities.Very good breakfast.Very polite staff. When booking from affar when you have never been to the city makes one a little aprehensive.We were really delighted with this hotel.After a long drive it was very clean and very peaceful.The staff were very polite,friendly and helpful.Breakfast was great,just ideal for a busy day ahead.we would recommend this hotel to others.
Travel tip : Proximity to the city was good.GPS made it easy to find.

Atlantis Guesthouse was located near the train station, but it was not so near the main station. It was still convenient to go to the city center. It was clean, and good enough for our 4-day stay in Zurich. The beds were large, which is a plus. Service is good and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was average -- the usual continental buffet. I heard the hotels in Zurich are usually overpriced, so this hotel gives us the value for our money. Although it was far from the city, it was convenient enough for light travelers and those who want to see a different side of Zurich.

Easy access to transport; excellent buffet breakfast. Room was a little too hot; hairdryer a little poor! Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend break. Easy to reach, even by Public Transport from both City and Airport. S10 train runs frequently from Zurich HB, then a short walk from Triemli station. Get off the train, turn right, follow the path down the hill to the level crossing (there are signs for the hotel) and then follow the path, the hotel is right in front of you - two minute walk at the most. If you look at maps you won't find a road, its all pathway.
Breakfast buffet was excellent - yes it was all cold but that's expected in Europe. Choice of cereals, breads, rolls, croissants, jam, meat, cheese, yoghurts, etc etc etc, plus tea/coffee and fruit juice.
Room was on the small side but ample for two people, we were out most of the day, the bed was a King. Bathroom good size, deep bath with shower over, no problem there although as one reviewer has said the hair drier is a little slow-doesn't worry me though!
Excellent staff, all very helpful, stored our bags too. The hotel is a great place for easy access to all the sights and would recommend and visit again.

very friendly staff, i had car trouble and they directly find the dealer for me in Zurich. the rooms a little bit small. A reasonable priced hotel with a very friendly staff. The breakfast is not bad at all but the choice good be better. The rooms are clean but very small. You can park your car near the hotel but don't park on the other side because the police will take your car away. It is near to the airport.
Travel tip : Don't expect any restaurants in the area, you have to go to the city of Zurich for that

It is more like a hotel than hostel, has basic hotel amenity which surprised me a lot, say toiletry, safe and tea pot etc. Friendly staff and the breakfast is the best among all the hotels/hostels we stayed at in the past 8 days in Switzerland. It is not convenient for us to find the hotel at the first day, as the location is not in the city map. We carelessly took a bus to the hotel instead of the train and it took us a long way to walk. If you are looking for a downtown location, that could be a problem. Travel tip : There is a skiing place where local people go. If you take the S10 train, please go to the terminal ( not the railway station terminal ) and you should be able to find..

Location in the countryside but only 10 mins from centre of city by easy and efficient train system.

Some people found the hotel hard to find when travelling by bus or tram. Train is ideal and close. This needs to be stressed more in literature given to clients (however staff do provide this information if clients bother to contact them prior to their visit) The Atlantis guesthouse hotel is situated in the lovely countryside of Triemli which is only 10 minutes by train from Zurich Central Station. Triemli has walking paths and is close to the mountains. Very quiet and peaceful town with some good eating options also. The trains are very regular so there is no waiting time. Tickets are available at the reception desk of the hotel which makes buying very easy especially when you dont speak the language.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly, and efficient both in person and over the internet. They went out of their way to provide us with information which was accurate. The rooms were comfortable and clean as was the entire hotel. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and good quality food and service. Small things such as providing umbrellas in the rain were appreciated. If you choose to stay here definitely take the train option.
Travel tip : Take the train rather than bus or tram to get to the guest house. It is a very short walk from the train station (approx 300m).

Train station is 10min walk.
Quiet and calm area.
Breakfast is OK
Has mini bar service in your room. Outside the city.
If you carry luggage you need to take from station, a 10min walk.
Expensive for the quality of the hotel they provided.
Not near restaurant if you want to have dinner. Restaurant Tip : All you have near to the hotel is 2 Italian restaurant and one Thai restaurant for anything else you need to go to the city.

Free parking, and a convenient location. I've stayed for years in Zurich and this is the most reasonable place to stay. As for value, you could not beat this Atlantis Guesthouse for an economical but great value location. I usually drive a large van and they have free outside parking that will accomodate all sizes of vehicles.

Good value for Zurich and friendly staff with excellent English. It was difficult to find when driving. A distance from the centre of the city but the train is within walking distance.

Friendly staff, variety of breakfast, clean Bigger elevator to accomodate big luggages This is one of the favourite hotels I have stayed in. Great! Quiet and fair distance from Zurich as well as attraction spot. Train can be reach within walking distance. Staff was kind and helpful. Also enjoyed of variety of breakfast. Room was clean and big. Definitely would stay here again in the future

To travel to the city center you go to Triemli station and after few stops you are at the main train station. Traveling from the airport is very easy as well. You should take the train to the main station and change for S bahn 10 to Triemli Street. Hotel can be seen from the Triemli station. And there is a bus service from the airport to hotel as well.

Convenient location. Quiet surroundings. Good rooms. There is no restaurasnt, but only a breakfast facility. Ddor third parties or catering possible. Conveniently located in suburb of Zurich with good parking. A few minutes walk from S-bahn station where the working week to the 10 minutes a train to central Zurich departing. Journey time 10 minutes. Good rooms with all amenities.
