The musicians include such eminent Swiss names as Willy Bischof (a former radio jazz producer) and "Blick" newspaper columnist Jurg Ramspeck (both pianists) and film director Rolf Lyssy (drums). Visitors are assured dining and wining of distinction, with the emphasis on light seasonal dishes. French chef Ludovic Pitrel pays great attention to detail, creating culinary delights with a touch of Mediterranean magic. The ever-changing selection of specialities is notable for its seasonal market-fresh produce, complemented by a choice range of fine European wines. The menu card also includes acclaimed Eden "culinary classics", such as the legendary Hors d'oeuvre chaud (introduced by one of the hotel's most eminent guests, Aga Kahn III, during the Second World War).
