Of all hotels we have stayed at in central Europe, this was the best value for money. Nice rooms, good location, the prices were the lowest in the area. The staff was really service minded and put a lot of effort into helping us extend our stay with one night although the hotel was practically fully booked. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who visit Zuerich - young or old, family, couple or solo traveller.

Low price and excellent value for money. Why? Rooms were individually and very nicely decorated (we stayed in two different rooms); we thought we paid for a shared bath, but it turned out we had our own shower. Truly service minded staff.

The only weakness we can think of is that there are a couple of quite lively night clubs in the area, so if you need complete silence you should choose another hotel. Another thing is that the reception is located in the "real" hotel (this is the "residence" or "guest house") further up the street.

• Hotel Feature Tip : Although is says "shared bath" you do have your own shower in the room, plus there is a lot of personality to the place.
