Cheap and chic, this trendy hotel north of the city center is handy to the train station and has a tram stop at the door. A block from the bank of the Limmat, the X-tra Limmathaus comprises a hotel, restaurant, bar and club � sound insulated rooms ensuring no noise from the latter bothers guests in the former. Located a ten-minute walk from the station, the X-tra Limmathaus is in a good position for exploring the city � trams are readily and regularly available and the walk along the bank of the Limmat towards the old town is an unmissable experience, especially after sunset when the lights come on.
