Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Centrally located gem - book early as it's small!
Decor, location, hospitable welcome, breakfast
9.7
Gaziantep is a beautiful city and so it's fitting to stay somewhere that has class, character, a welcoming air and a pronounced sense of history; Asude Konak has all of these in abundance! I was there in the winter - so the only guest in the 5 rooms (which meant I got the best room with a beautiful view of the castle) - and I had personalised service throughout my stay with a smile and 'can do' attitude. The location is great, the heating worked well, and while the bathrooms are small the amazing breakfasts make up for it.

Beautiful Anatolian House - but cold in Winter
Traditional architecture, original stlyle house
6.7
Asude Konak is nicely situated in small streets of the old quarter near the Citadel. It is a traditional Anatolian stone house which has been turned into a boutique hotel. The decor is vintage and the bed clothes are traditionally hidden behind a curtain.
The downside of being an old-style house, is that the bathroom is a bit improvised and small. Also, as i had the bad luck to stay there in winter time, the heating and isolation is not good enough. So I had to leave the place because I would freeze at night. But i am sure this place would be gorgeous in spring or Summer.
The owner however is very nice (she speaks English), she explained me many things about Gaziantep and the area. Breakfast is Turkish style and lots of it. The staff does not speak much English though, but does everything to communicate and make your stay pleasant.
There is wifi in the whole building, and a small sattelite TV (but mainly Turkish channels).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try the old hammam just next to the Citadel (near the 14 Martyr statue): for women during the day, for men during the evening.
