This wonderfully named boutique hotel is located in a quiet area of Istanbuls old town and was originally built in the 20th century.

Situated just a short drive away from the main international airport this hotel houses 12 unique guest rooms with many containing a charming terraced area to relax in. There are lots of things to see and do in the area outside the hotel including sampling the local bars and cafes in the many picturesque streets surrounding the building. The Angels Home Hotel is steeped in history and the staff members and owners are proud to tell you the history of their cherished establishment.

Fantastic Location - close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Tokapi Place.Infact, for shopping, one can even walk to the Araasta Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar. Nice room with all basic amenities.

Breakfast was very monotonous if more than a day. Toiletries in bathroom were not replenish daily The breakfast restaurant had a strange smelly odour, perhaps from the cats, dogs or ducks litter around, which makes us sometime lose our appetite to eat. Infact, unalerted, we caught the cat eating up the breakfast fare.

We arrived on the morning of 30th May, 2009 and the hotel reception was overwhelming. I mean I booked a standard room, at the other wing of the hotel, but because a friend of ours who was slightly disabled, was given a deluxe room at the other wing. The hotel reception went all out to place us next to our friend, even though it was a deluxe room. Not only that, while waiting for the room to be ready, we were given full breakfast that morning. Thanks so much to the management of Angels Home. The guys at the reception were friendly and ever willing to help. Free internet service was very useful for us to check our emails. Hotel location is close to many restaurants, mini markets and shops at Araasta Bazaar. I miss Sultanahmet and Angels Home. Will certaintly not hesitate to stay here again. I felt safe whenever I walked out of or returned to the hotel.The room was cute with burgundy colored decor, curtains and stools....and believe it or not, all in hearts and angels shape!! I suppose if I had stayed here for my honeymoon, it would have been very romantic. Anyway, to all at Angels Home Hotel, I luv you guys and thanks for the wonderful and great service rendered.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walking is the best way to explore the key tourist sites at Sultanahmet, from Angels Home Hotel. Just wear comfortable shoes or sandals because the roads are made of pebbles mostly, and sometimes hilly. Goung with tour agents can waste your time because they will be going from one hotel or place to another, picking up passengers for the tour. By time they take off, its a bout 2-3 hours late
