Solo travelers Germany, October 08, 2012	nice Boutique-Hotel modern-classique design, calm but central 8.3 sweet hotel in a relatively calm side-street near Tünel, quite new, nicely designed, friendly staff. The room big enough with lots of amenities. huge shower, very clean, lighting could be better. The only annoying was the ventilator in the bathroom, which was not switching off and run the whole night - but probably they fixed that, was only one night there. breakfast for german standards quite small, but quality ok, nice patio for breakfast.

It is by far the least conveniently located and hard to find of all the places I've stayed in Istanbul. The taxi drivers either refused to drive up to it due to traffic and inconvenient access or pulled over on the street 100 feet down from the hotel, with a steep hill to walk up (not optimal for dragging suitcases up or down). However, if want to spend time on Istiklal street, it is just a couple of blocks away. The room was tiny, amenities rather inadequate (great organic orange shampoo, soap, and q-tips), no complimentary water in the room, internet extremely slow, breakfast ok, but not on par with other boutique hotels in Istanbul, staff was on the phone or computer most of the time, with scarcely any interest in anything.
