A five-minute walk from the Blue Mosque and St Sophia and handy to the main train station, the Erboy Hotel is in an excellent position for those wanting to explore the tourist sights on foot. Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar are all within easy walking distance, or there�s a tram stop right near the hotel for those who want to give their feet a rest. Accommodations at the Erboy are well-maintained and prettily decorated; rooms are equipped with TV and air-conditioning and for dining there�s the Ottoman-style a restaurant that opens up onto the street or a top floor terrace that opens up to the sky. The beautiful Gulhane Park is adjacent for evening and mornings strolls.

Great Location

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. The room was nice, the bathroom was clean and worked every day. The breakfast was good and very various. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We failed to visit the restaurant as there were plenty of good and lively restaurants to choose from nearby. Sometimes it was little noisy because the walls were rather thin. But it was not very important for us as we returned tired from sightseeing. The hotel is very good situated, close to the main places of interests and public transport. Good value for money.

Close to everything, very courteous staff, clean,

Very spartan living conditions.

Hotel is clean with very well trained and courteous staff. However, there is nothing in the room except beds, small TV and old bedside table, i.e. there is no kettle, no fridge, no drinking water despite the sign that tap water in not fit for drinking. There is also odd sticker on the toilet prohibiting disposal of the used toilet paper in the toilet. Are guests expected to re-use toilet paper or take it out of premises with them? Very odd!

Restaurant Tip : Try restaurant at the 6-th floor with outstanding views.
