Terrible hotel, we stay 4 nights, first day they tell us no room than send us to one old building apartment so dark there, second day they send us to stay in hotel but 7/F, my monther 74 years old how to going up, but she also do it cause no room my heart so hurt, my god is double room for 3 people? phone and TV is not work, i need go down 3 times to tell them settle extrat bad, cause no phone, but till to 01:30am can get the extrat bed cause im so angry in lobby, my mum can't go up any more, then they send us to oposit another building,also no TV, the cray reception come to repair, after he need us a thanks kiss and ask us to join him to night club, we ignore this guy,my god last night, he celling at 03:30am when we all sleep,he ask us join hotel shuttle bus to airport, what time is it, if u don't want have hell expriens, pls pls don't stay this hotel! have many hotel around here.

Hotel staff is not welcomming , not smiling. And some of them are rude.
My stay give me not good remembers about that hotel and persons who working there in reception. Thanks for cleaner, they was good culture persons.

Relocated to Hotel Samil

Interesting, I got to the Esen Hotel, the man at the desk wanted me to pay 34 Euro's, I told him I already paid to Agoda, he kept insisting and I kept resisting and he finally gave up. He called someone up from downstairs to take me to another hotel down the street. I complained a bit that it was a different hotel and he said it was the same hotel. I was right it was a different hotel, it was Hotel Samil, actually I think it turned out to be a better hotel than the Esen. The breakfast was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Everything right in this location, you can walk to so many things, the Grand Bazaar, The Blue Mosque, The Spice Market, the ferry's to other parts of Istanbul. Transportation is convenient and easy to use, great location.

Not what I expected as 3 Stars Hotel

the hotel is not a 3 stars hotel but has been listed as 3 stars,
the shower was awful, the tv only has one chanel which wasn't expected. breakfast was ok on first two days but then they remove the eggs. overall i wasn't satisfied.

Nadir was very kind to allow as to check in early after we return from Pamukkale, with free breakfast. They were renovating when we stayed there that's why the stairs are a bit messy and noisy, but it was quiet at night.

its a very cozy hotel.. it is near to grand bazaar, spice bazaar n all the good restaurant to eat.. the tram station its just a few minutes walk from the hotel. so conveniance for us.. the room a bit small n cold but we like it there.. the bad part was we can hear the noice comes from the upper room. knocking n talking at night. but what you aspect wiht the lowest hotel price in town .. u want to save money and stay at the cheapest hotel , you have to bare with it.. im a bit surprised coz the room , the bed n the toilet are very very clean for that standart... we surely will go n stay there again next time.....tq esen hotel!!!!
