Located only about a 10 minute walk from the big sites in Istanbul, makes this hotel a good place to stay. Rooms are small and breakfast is basic, but over all, for the price, I'd stay here again.

Our stay was adequate, we did not stay long enough to have any breakfast so can not comment on that.
The room was small but then they all are small, other than that no other comments.

Budget Hotel, Good Location but small rooms

We stayed 2 nights at Grand Mark Hotel. At first we thought that the Hotel placed in the remote area and far from everywhere; until we found out that the location is very good- very closed to Kumkapi, one of the best place to eat sea food in Istanbul. In the morning we found the cheap market along the way and also budget restaurant everywhere (We found the good and cheap restaurant aside the hotel). It's not difficult to find supermarket, bakery and ATM.
The room is clean but I guess, It's ideally for 2 people only; it will be too small for 3 people. The staffs are friendly and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's 30 minutes walk to Sultanahmet-blue mosque/Aya Sofia. But if you want to go to Grand Bazaar, you gotta climb for 15 minutes.

we stayed for 1 night only, the room was small but okay, just walking distance (about 15 min. to hagia soffya), and other places like blue mosque, grand bazaar as well as walking distance to yenikapi ferry station (we took ferry to bandirma the next morning). the staffs were very helpful, shariff (at the counter)was great. they understand english..

well nothing special about that hotel, location is in sultan ahmet area so right in the historical center. hotel and rooms are clean but very basic. didn't have any issues but wasn't impressed at all. you get what you paid for.
