Grand Yavuz Hotel Istanbul Info
This elegant hotel in the Old City area provides traditional Turkish hospitality within walking distance of the historic sights. Positioned on a hill amid quaint old-style shops, houses and cafs, the Grand Yavuz Hotel is a ten-minute walk from the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and St Sophia. Rooms are newly renovated and classic in style not ultra modern, but comfortable and in tune with the hotels relaxed residential environment. After walking around the cobbled streets of old Constantinople, guests can retreat to the hotels health club that offers traditional Turkish baths, a Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish massage. After that, what better way to spend the evening than by having a gourmet dinner on the rooftop terrace with sweeping views over the Bosphorous and the Blue Mosque.

Clean.
Nice location.
Quiet.
Breakfast (freshness, variety).
The rooms are enough to stay at for a city trip. The rooms are with carpet, which gives sometimes a bad smell. The bathroom is very good! The shower is perfect! The staff was friendly. To get to the tram station (cemberlitas or sultan ahmet) is only 5 minutes walk. The area is quite expensive to go out for dinner. Better move with the tram to another district!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Aia sofia and sultan ahmet mosque is very close. Also some big bazaar are very close. The other sights are easy to reach with the tram.

I cant see any pros in this hotel
Location is very bad and the roads near the hotel are very steep and hard to walk in the neighborhood.
The Location is very bad, Taxi takes a lot of time to find the hotel. It is not worth the money. Roads near the hotel are very steep and difficult to walk in the neighborhood. Defiantly I don't recommend this hotel. My son was walking in with a bottle of water in his hand the reception took the bottle from him and they told him no outside food allowed ( that was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in a hotel).
